Soft cover. Condition: Near Fine. Italian Edition. Leon Kahn, a Polish Jew and Canadian philanthropist, gives us a different kind of Holocaust memoir. He shares the little known story of the family groups of Jews and partisan fighters, composed of Poles and Russians from Siberia, who roamed the forests outside the towns in search of food and weapons. As a partisan fighter, Kahn was given professional guerilla training and soon became an expert in blowing up German trains. First published in 1978, this is the send printing of the 204 reprint. Externally it seems 'as new', however there is a gift inscription to the htp and a very light fold-mark to the rear cover. Ships via inexpensive Canada Post Lettermail within North America, or via the USPS Media Mail, in card sleeve. From $5.00 to $8.50 depending on exact weight etc. Media Mail rates in the USA do not apply to Magazines. Those requiring Tracking in Canada will find postage considerably more. Tracking with all shipments to the USA. Image available if required. Overseas orders, Postage, at cost, determined by final weight and destination.

INSCRIBED, DATED & SIGNED BY AUTHOR, octavo softcover (VG); all our specials have minimal description to keep listing them viable. They are at least reading copies, complete and in reasonable condition, but usually secondhand; frequently they are superior examples.
