Signed and inscribed on the first front end paper ( 'For _______, With best wishes, Irene Kampen, February, 1969' ). This book is in excellent condition. You can see the covers in the photos. They are exceptionally clean. The silver lettering on the spine is nicely bright. There is just a little bit of crinkling off the top and bottom edges of the spine, a bit of a bump crease just off the bottom edge of the rear cover just adjacent to the spine. The cover edges and corners are in excellent shape, no rubbing. The page edges look very good. The book is square and the spine is straight. The binding is very solid from cover to cover with nicely tight pages and nicely tight covers as well. The inside covers and end papers are red. They are very clean and free of wear. That fairly describes the condition of the pages. I'm scrolling through them without finding any instances of creasing or soiling. Nor are there any markings or attachments. And the author's signed inscription is the only writing to be found anywhere. You can see the dust jacket in the first few photos. It too is very clean. It too has some crinkling at the spine ends and again off the rear bottom edge just adjacent to the spine. There are no tears. The flaps are in very solid shape, clean, just a teeny bit of crinkling off the rear flap's top edge. The jacket is NOT price-clipped, not clipped at all. It will be fitted with a protective cover after the photos are scanned.
