Allan Carr was a flamboyant Hollywood and Broadway producer of such film and stage productions as Grease, La Cage Aux Folles (for which he won a Tony Award), CanÕt Stop the Music, etc. Before becoming a producer he managed the careers of The Village People, Peter Sellers, Cass Elliot, Herb Alpert, Melina Mercouri, Peggy Lee, Marlo Thomas, Dyan Cannon, Paul Anka, and others.
