Stationed during the Second World War in the vicinity of Kermanshah, the author reveals something of the beauty and strangeness of the region. 186 pages. Blue cloth with gilt decoration on upper cover and black titles on spine. A bit of sunlight fading of the cloth at top of spine and uppermost extremities of the covers. Price-clipped dust-jacket is nibbled on spine and rubbed with some internal repair nicked and endpapers are ageing. Excellent internal condition and a good plus copy overall.
