Surveyor Richard Holbeche's own copy of this 1849 Estate Auction particulars poster with a hand-coloured overhead elevation of the land and pieces to be sold. The sale was taken by Samuel Kempson and their were 9 lots in total with farms, land and orchards, meadow and pasture land, one even has a mine underneath for "building sand", Mr Thomas Betts sold several pieces. Fold lines as one would expect. NEVER been framed, black steam-press printing as fresh as the day it was done, map has some offsetting marks at fold line, off the original printing ink, but minor. Printed on two sides opens gate-fold style. Measure; 20 x 14 inches (55 x 35 cm). *Prices realised in pencil. Also postage will be reduced automatically for lighter item.

In slipcase lined and covered in marbled paper. Limited to 420 copies of which this is number IX of X bound in Nigerian Goatskin. Ordinary copies were bound by Hunter and Foulis Ltd of Edinburgh, but it does not specify who bound the ten specials. A fine copy.
