Add to basketHardcover. Condition: Good. 1st Edition. 8vo. 176 pages. 32 page publisher's list. Full leather, raised bands, gilt. The re- binding, executed in India, is solid but unprepossessing (as is often the case in my experience) The binder, inscrutably, has bound in the leaf containing part of the preface and the table of contents, up-side-down, between pages 128 and 129. Nothing appears to be missing apart from the mentioned map. The text is browned and in places brittle - the corners of a few pages have broken off. The scarcity of the book makes up for its unsatisfactory condition.
