Kinnison was a Detroit newspaper columnist and poet; this volume features nine poems by him along with with contributions by various readers of his poems in his "Musings" column in the *Detroit Times*, including Henry Ford, J. L. Hudson (department store), Fidelity Investments, Continental Motors, and even an inmate in a Michigan prison. The statements praise specific poems of Kinnison's, usually with a personal sentiment as to how the poem touched their lives or how the poem could be utilized in their corporate marketing. A number of the poems have middle class themes, reflecting the lives and struggles of workers in the automobile industries in Detroit. Uncommon. *OCLC* locates two copies (Brown, Oregon). (N.B. Kinnison also published a much larger book of poems with a very similar name in 1927, almost certainly without the other contributors.).
