Cochin filius del 1770, Aug. de St. Aubin sculp. 1771," woodcut ornaments; 20th-century full calf, probably by Alfred Smith & Co., Philadelphia, spines in 6 compartments, gilt lettered direct in 2, a.e.g.; spine slightly sunned and upper cover of the second volume shows a shadow of a bookend; all else very good, clean, and sound. Memorial bookplate of Caroline Furness Jayne. Each volume is in two parts, each with separate pagination and signatures. Parts 2 and 4 have special half titles. Text variously in Greek, Latin, and French. Not in Mills College Check List or Riedel-Horatiana.
