Hardcover. Condition: Fine. First edition. Small octavo. 103pp. Illustrated with inserted plates. Penciled owner's name, else about fine. Signed by the author. Unusual collection of poetry and nautical stories by a sea captain, most concerned with the whaling trade, and also includes a story about a whaling ship that Lake exhibited in Atlantic City, N.J. Very scarce, *OCLC* locates only three copies, two of them in nautical museums.
