Condition: Good. 1949. First Edition. 311 pages. Pictorial dust jacket over identical cloth. Black and white illustrations throughout by Gwen Raverat. Pages are clean overall, with mild tanning and foxing throughout. Slightly more pronounced to endpapers, pastedowns, and text block edges. Mild cracking to gutters. Binding remains firm. Boards have slight edge wear with corner bumping. Mild tanning to spine and edges with some crushing to spine ends. Unclipped jacket. Panels have moderate edge wear with chips, tears and creasing. Small areas of loss to spine ends. Moderate tanning to spine. Some foxing overall. Mild water markings to spine.
