With a folding map to the front of the text of the theatre of war in La Vendee. The memoirs of Marie Louise Victoire de Donnissan de La Rochejaquelein, a French memoirist known for this work. Within this work La Rochejaquelein describes both the Demonstration of 20 June 1792 as well as the Storming of the Tuileries. She and her spouse left Paris before the September massacres, but were involved in the Revolt in the Vendee. Bound in quarter crushed morocco with paper covered boards. Externally, smart with rubbing and light bumping to the extremities. Light fading to the spine with the odd mark to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with scattered spotting throughout. Light age toning to the first and last few pages. Good. book.
