Dust jacket has modest rubbing with aging scuffs, moderate wear to edges and corners with tears and chips, fading to spine. in good condition, now in archival cover.

Hardcover. Hyacinth cloth with silver lettering; matching dj with yellow lettering; 308 pp. with occasional bw images. In her autobiography, de Basily describes her charmed life on four continents, including her enchanted childhood and her marriage to Russian diplomat, Nicolas de Basily. She also includes the terrors experienced during the Russian Revolution. VG interior; dj has a few tears and scuffs; museum ex-lib. bookplate inside front cover.
