Risher (Philadelphia, Mississippi), 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 inches tall paperbound in red and black covers, white lettering to spine, copiously illustrated with black-and-white photographs, ix, [6], 542 pp. Slight soiling and moderate rubbing and edgewear to covers, with a bit of creasing to the tips. Handwritten corrections to a few pages. Stamp to all index pages regarding a pagination error. Otherwise, a very good copy - clean, bright and unmarked - of this scarce autobiography, filled with references to events and history of Neshoba County, especially the Philadelphia, Mississippi area. Rare; OCLC (No. 58473860) locates only one copy at institutions worldwide - at Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi.
