This copy is unusually large with still uncut leaves. Three parts in one book. Printed on high quality paper. Newly bound in hard cover. The original wrappers were of wood pulp and survived in fragments that are bound in.
Unbound. Condition: Near Fine. 3 3/4" x 1 1/2" paper slip -- SIGNED by Samuel S. Leibowitz: "Autographed Dec. 23, 1969 - Samuel S. Leibowitz". He was a American criminal defense attorney. He was best known for representing the Scottsboro Boys. Very scarce signature. Comes with a unsigned B&W Photo of Leibowitz with the Scottsboro boys. Also comes with a unsigned 1st Printing hardcover copy of James Goodman's book "Stories of Scottsboro". Also comes with original 1978 New York Times obituary for Leibowitz.
