This copy is NEAR Fine in a VG, unclipped ( $2.50) , DJ . Exterior is rich. Gilt is bright. Edges/tips/spine ends have only ,minimal signs of wear. Inside front paste down has 7 penciled numbers corresponding to 7 page numbers in the book where a particular Hoosier serviceman is underlined. Otherwise, unmarked, crisp and tight with modest toning.DJ is bright and clean with modest wear around the edges except for an open 1/4" x 1" tear at top front and a 1/2' x 1 " open tear at the top back. SCARCE SIGNED. Nice provenance. J. Hugh O'Donnell (illustrator). Inscribed by Author(s).
