Book
Hardcover. Condition: Poor. xvi, 105 pages 41 plates. Series: Yale historical publications. History of art ; 8. This is a truly unattractive copy of a significant book, offering a striking demonstration of the importance of form in addition to content. The book itself is in poor condition, with faded boards, sunning to the head and foot of the front board and an old mildew stain to the foot of the rear; previous owner's bookplate to front pastedown, contents unmarked, dampstaining to the foot of the textblock. The front and rear panels of the dust jacket are mostly present, as are the flapfolds; its spine is lost, along with a triangular portion of the rear panel. It is now in a mylar cover. 710 grams.
