Paperback. Condition: new. Paperback. This is a book about the AFTERLIFE, co-authored by Ken Levi, Ph.D. and Jamie Whitfield, a retired English Teacher. The two authors take opposing positions. Ms. Whitfield makes the argument for immortality, citing centuries of belief across a wide range of religions, as well as scientific studies, such as investigations into Near Death Experience. Dr. Levi offers evidence against such studies, with particular critique of the pseudo science of Dnesh D'Souza. In two successive chapters, Levi proposes an alternative view of the afterlife based on the Holographic Principle. In the final chapter, the two authors have a debate, poking at deficiencies in each other's positions. The reader is then left to consider which arguments she or he considers most convincing. This item is printed on demand. Shipping may be from multiple locations in the US or from the UK, depending on stock availability.

Paperback. Condition: new. Paperback. God is real. The evidence is solid and extensive. It's not based on blind faith or wishful thinking, but on hard science. The starting point is to strip away layers of mysticism and superstition surrounding the question of God; then, to ask: what do we really mean by a "Supreme Being"? How can we describe Him? And what evidence do we have such a Being exists? In addressing these questions, the book relies on physics and cosmology; on Relativity, Quantum Mechanics, String Theory, Black Hole Theory, Thermodynamics, Loop Quantum Gravity, and others. Ultimately, the scientific evidence leads to a provocative conclusion: the presence of a Universal Mind. This item is printed on demand. Shipping may be from multiple locations in the US or from the UK, depending on stock availability.
