Levyâs was the first American gallery to sponsor a show on Surrealism and to champion neo-Romanticism, magic Realism, and European photographs. Luis Bunuel and Salvador Daliâs Un Chien Andalou and Joseph Cornellâs Rose Hobart had their first screenings in the United States there. This book includes reproductions of paintings, photographs, and film stills from museums and private collections, as well as art and ephemera from Levyâs own collection. Other than that, the burgundy cloth cover is in great shape for the rest of the book. There is a protective removeable cover with the book also. All inside pages are in great shape.
