Exhibition Announcement Cards. This is not a book. The original announcement postcard for an exhibition of painted cars titled "Art Car '90: BMW and Five Artists" and held at The BMW Gallery, NYC, October 1990 - January 1991. The exhibition presented the first four race cars painted by artists--Alexander Calder (1975), Frank Stella (1976), Roy Lichtenstein (1977), and Andy Warhol (1979)--as well as the latest (at the time) Ken Done (1989.) The first four were actually raced. Thin postcard, printed both sides; 6 x 4 inches. Condition: Tanning to the text side, otherwise Fine. Will be sandwiched securely between stiff layers of cardboard and shipped the next business day.
