Black-printed orange issue cover, white paper strip around top sp. with author's name handwritten on sp., bottom spine has 1 cm chipped with short tear, faint early signature to bottom front outer corner, otherwise clean and unworn except for inevitable slight outer corner bumping. viii + 72; a very faint oval library stamp to t.p. beside pub. logo (quite illegible), outer corners slightly curled for most of text-block but this is a minor fault, otherwise clean and unmarked though some gutters slightly opening. Liefmann, who was Jewish, died in the Gurs concentration camp located in the Pyrenees, in 1941. 16 cm x 24 cm.
