Reprint of the 1942 anthology Comic Relief features a host of pieces from the Algonquin Round Table wits -- Robert Benchley, Steven Leacock, James Thurber, Ogden Nash, Ring Lardner, Dorothy Parker, etc . Unclipped dust jacket shows its age with rubbing, tanning, and patches of chipping that include five 1/4 inch closed tears to crown. The book itself, though, wears only a slight bumping of spine and price stamp upon the final endpaper. Good-Very Good to dust jacket, Near Fine for book. See photos.
