A missionary account. In 1888 Susan Wilson accompanied her husband Alpheus Waters Wilson during his bishop tours to Asia due to his poor health, leaving three daughters in the US. Her letters home were published serially, before being collected in this edition. She writes of missionary life in Japan, China, India and Egypt, before making a brief stop in Europe and returning home. Somewhat scarce. Most records appear to be for digital copies, with perhaps 7 copies being physical in OCLC.
