Stiff Wraps. Pixie O'Harris (Illus.) (illustrator). Facsimile Edition. Quarto, decorated stiff wraps, b&w plates, b&w text illus, pp 31, some light creasing to lower cover. Very good condition. Charmingly illustrated fairy story. Facsimile of the 1923 original.

Card Covers. Condition: Good -. Pixie O'Harris (illustrator). First Edition. Very early art work by Pixie O'Harris. Card covers are worn and faded to edges, Spine splitting to base to 7cm high, pages internally are following suit to a lesser degree, single library stamp to opening leaf - appears not to have been in the lending area . Gift marking in ink to opening leaf (Christmas 1922). Pictures have been coloured in in pencil by a young hand. Very scarce 1st edition with art by a notable Australian Illustrator. Rare Australian 1st edition. Photos available.

Quarto, original wrappers (heavily stained, paper loss along spine, lower wrapper with unsightly tape repair);a presentation copy inscribed on the half title 'With compliments from "The Fairy Publisher" J.M. Rath [?], 25/11/22' (i.e. before official publication date); pp. 31, illustrated in black and white by Pixie O'Harris; preliminary leaves with a few handling marks, otherwise internally very clean. Muir 4319. Very scarce children's book featuring the earliest published work of Pixie O'Harris (b. Rona Olive Harris, 1903-1991).
