Including an account of the eruption of soilway moss.With the title page present in facsimile.The second work is a very scarce 1820 facsimile of a 1645 narrative of 'That Famous and Renowned Siege of Newcastle [.] Together with a Succinct Commentarie upon The Battell of Bowden Hill, and that Victorious Battell of York or Marston Moore'.This narrative is credited to William Lithgow.The third and final work present is the very scarce 1818 French language work 'Des Chemins de fer en Angleterre, Notamment a Newcastle, dans le Northumberland' by M. de Gallois, describing the railways of England, with a focus on those of Newcastle and Northumberland.Rebound in half cloth, with endpapers renewed.
