reprint, 288pp, 16pp half tone photo ills., maroon cloth lettered in silver at spine, coloured endpapers, photo pictorial dustwrapper, much of the text originally appeared in the author's 'One Man's War in Korea' (1988) and 'One Man's SAS' (1987), the memoirs of a career soldier, as a fifteen year old boy, in 1946, he Wiltshire Regiment as a band boy. Coming to hate music and transferred to the Cops of Drum and in 1950, after posting to Hong Kong was able to transfer to the Glosters and join them in Korea. Eventually wounded and taken prisoner at Imjin he was released after two years and classified as unfit for further military service.
