First Edition
Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. This 432 page volume with two additional pages of advertisements about the publisher's books has green cloth covered boards and lettering on the spine. There is a small piece of the cloth missing at the bottom of the spine above the spine end, and the boards can be seen on three of the four tips. The end papers are brown and book remains tightly bound. A previous owner's signature is dated on the first white free end paper. There is a small stain to the edge of the first 26 pages that only reaches into the margins, is faint and does not impact the text material. The text pages appear to be without marginalia, underlining or highlighting. The number 226 is written at the top of the title page in pencil. The leaf edges are darkened. The book is about 4 3/4 inches by 7 inches. Please look at the pictures carefully and ask any questions about this item prior to making a purchase, thank you.
