Jean Lorrain was a French poet and novelist of the Symbolist school, known for his numerous contributions to the satirical weekly Le Courrier Francais. This novel, originally published in 1901, is an example of the author's well known Decadent style. A lovely limited edition, illustrated with colourful woodcuts by Chapront.
