First Edition
Hardcover. First Edition, First Printing. pp. 240. 12mo., measuring 5.5" x 7.75". Tan cloth over boards, marbled endpapers with gilt lettering to the front board. Black and white photographic frontispiece depicting Portage & Main in Winnipeg in 1870. Replete with many black and white photographs, maps, illustrations, photographic repdroductions, facsimiles. Also comprises of one large panoramic fold-out map entitled, "The Centre of Winnipeg's Wholesale, Financial and Commercial Activities"; in excellent condition. Extremities are in near fine condition. Internally, the ffep has been excised, contents remain bright, clean, and unmarked with a tight, sound binding. Overall, very good+ to near fine. See Peel #4845.

Black and white photographic frontispiece depicting Portage & Main in Winnipeg. Replete with many black and white photographs, maps, illustrations, photographic repdroductions, facsimiles. Also comprises of one large panoramic fold-out map entitled, "The Centre of Winnipeg's Wholesale, Financial and Commercial Activities"; in excellent condition. Gilt lettering to the front board has faded considerably, however, the extremities are in near fine condition. Internally, the contents remain bright, clean, and unmarked with a tight, sound binding. Overall, near fine. See Peel #4845.
