Qualche fioritura nel testo. (10627) Prima pubblicazione di questo importante atlante nautico genovese della prima metà del sec. XV, di formato min…uscolo, su pergamena, raffigurante i profili delle coste e l'indicazione dei porti, delle rade e delle localtà costiere nella vasta area compresa tra il Mar Nero e l'Atlantico centrale, attribuibile secondo gli esperti a F. de Cesaris o a P. Vesconte. Il Portolano era stato rinvenuto tra le carte di famglia da Tammar Luxoro (Genova, 1825-99), singolare figura di collezionista, conservatore e restauratore di monumenti, pittore e disegnatore, influenzato da Fontanesi, Rayper e dalla Scuola di Rivara; l'atlante in questione fu successivamente acquisito nel 1899 dalla Biblioteca Berio. Dettagliatissima la Nomenclatura dell'atlante colla corrispondenza moderna, con gli indici analitici dei toponimi, seguita da studi complementari di C. Desimoni. Sulla figura di Tammar Luxoro, cfr. F. Franco, in D.B.I., vol. LXVI/pp. 696 e segg.
