Very light soiling to boards, light rippling in cloth of front board. Spine ends lightly rubbed, spine heel lightly bumped. Corners moderately rounded. Name in pen on front free endpaper, bleeding through to verso. Internally very neat, clean, bright and tight. Dust jacket spine sun-faded and worn, heavy chipping at ends. Dust jacket rear cover lightly soiled and tanned, tanning around top edges of covers, wear along folds, chipping and <3cm closed tears at corners. Dust jacket interior has some soiling on the spine, tanning and foxing on the flaps. Focusing on eight works: La Vie de Saint Alexis, La Chanson de Roland, Le Charroi de Nimes, Lancelot (by Chretien de Troyes), Le Roman de Renard (two branches), Le Roman de la Rose, Le Grand Testament and La Farce de Maitre Pathelin.
