Boards have some rubbing to the top and bottom of the spine and the corners. Page edges, endpapers and pages are lightly browned and there is a small brown patch to top of the fro…nt free end paper and the half title page. There is an odour to the book, probably from the home of a smoker, but the pages are otherwise unmarked. Jacket has a quarter-inch tear to the bottom left corner of the rear panel which has been repaired with a small piece of tape to the reverse where there is also a small stain.
