Some issues present such as cracking, inscriptions, inserts, moderate foxing, tanning and thumb marking. Binding remains firm. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light marking and tanning.

Book itself is in VG+ or better condition with very little wear. There are no markings to the pages or endpapers, all of which have very colorful illustrations by the author. The box top does have some damage. There is a small piece missing from the bottom of the box and a piece about 2 1/2 inches missing from the side. On the top of the box there are a couple pencil marks at the title which could be erased. These boxes are difficult to find in any condition.
