Paperback. Condition: Very Good. [Paris], 1973. 98 pp. 27.5 x 21 cm. Stiff pale yellow paper covers with grey cloth tape spine. Some light toning and soil to spine, with light soil to covers. Some minor creasing to bottom corners of covers. Toning, bumping, and some nicking to fore-edges of extra leaves that have been tipped into the text. Some light foxing to some of the pages. Gift inscription from the author Aime Mandel to David Daube, who was an 'eminent authority on legal history' (NY Times, 1999) at UC Berkeley and was best known for his work on Talmudic law. After being admitted to the Paris Bar in 1973, Mandel moved to the US and was admitted to the State Bar of California two years later. . Signed by Author. Soft Cover. Very Good.
