    Hardcover. Condition: Good +. First Edition. First Edition (London, 1962). 'The Complete Book of Light Opera with an American Section by David Ewen'. No markings, annotations, or inscriptions. Internally fine, save for some minor ageing to the endpapers. The final two pages of the Contents are present but now detached from the binding edge. Page block fore edge is noticeably dust-marked (with top edge dyed blue). Unclipped dust jacket. Conspicuous edge wear and creasing to the front edges and to the spine ends (with some attendant short tears), otherwise light rubbing and and shelf-marking only. (Now in a protecive plastic cover.) Beige cloth with fine gilt-and-red titling to the spine. The boards are lightly age-toned to the edges but otherwise clean, secure, and tolerably sharp. Frontis, xviii, 953pp.
