DEFECTIVE -- pages 65-80 omitted in this copy and pages 49-64 present in duplicate. INSCRIBED by Marshall on title-page. African American author listed in French [et al]'s "Afro-American Poetry and Drama, 1760-1975." Almost of the poems in this uncommon book urge abstinence from drinking any alcoholic beverages. Marshall listed her address in Washington, DC on the copyright page.
