A little bubbling of surface material on the boards and a few slight ink/stain marks. Pencil inscriptions on end paper and title page. Frontispiece tissue paper torn. The binding is firm and the leaves tight, with slight gutter gaps between some leaf signatures but hinges not cracked. The pages are clean with some spotting to the text block edges. The leaves are unevenly cut giving a ragged edge effect.
