Cream cloth with black strip down length of spine for title in bright copper lettering; Black-stamped Publisher's logo at bottom right front cover, above Series title, copper-stamped over cream; top edge stained black; bevel fore-edge; slight age-toned browning along top edges and across top spine; slightly age-toned endpapers, text and fore-edge; pp. 192-193 exhibit small flaw of superficial piece of p. 193 peeled off (in margin, taking small bit off of letters at end two lines, but all words are clear on both pages), now adhering to p. 192: NO hole in page, so superficial is the peeling. Binding tight, corners sharp. White dustwrapper not price-clipped ('$5.95' at lower right inside panel), with black and white portrait of Buber at upper right front cover, with title lettering to left of portrait; author name in yellow letters across lower middle left front cover; light blue band across bottom front cover for Series information. Dustwrapper worn across top edges and spine ends (a few small chips) and with small missing bits at all corners; some light soiling down covers along fore-edge and down spine edges; 5/8" x 1/2" piece missing at top right front cover corner: Now in mylar which graciously forgives these sins. Binding tight, corners square. No previous owner names. Clean text.
