Comprises of a rich selection of Ukrainian, Canadian, and regional recipes, all accompanied with the names of their respective contributors. Sections include: "Traditional Ukrainian Recipes", "Salads, Soups & Vegetables", "Meat, Fish & Poutlry", "Breads, Rolls & Cookies", "Cake & Pastry", "Desserts", "Miscellaneous". From the preface: "Our local group of the Ukrainian Women's Association of Lesia Ukrainka, Dauphin Branch, was organized in the year 1929. We have also enhanced our community with traditional songs, dances, cuisine and handicrafts (i.e., embroidery, Easter eggs, weaving, etc.) and a general involvement in local projects.".
