First Edition Signed
Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. 1st Edition. A near fine copy, in a good dust jacket, of the stated first edition. The red cloth binding is clean and unworn, with strong black lettering to the spine. Everything is square and tight, with sharp unbumped edges. Inside there are no ownership inscriptions or other markings of any kind. However, this copy has been *SIGNED BY AUTHOR* on the ffep. The dust jacket is unclipped ($4.00), but has small losses to the spine ends and a larger loss to the rear face which does not, however, intrude onto the author's photo and potted biography. It is now protected in a removable mylar cover. From the jacket flap: "Here is a delightful reading experience for every American who has been angry at some of our political figures and who has been insulted by the behavior of foreign 'guests' to this country and by the affronts hurled at us by other nations. Mary Sims Elliot is one American who defends her land with her pen, and with good, solid common sense which she is not at all afraid to communicate to the high and mighty - when they get out of line". Signed by Author.
