A leading wood engraver of the late twentieth century, Yvonne Skargon is particularly known for her landscapes, cats and an innate love of flowers and gardens. Taught by John O'Connor and Blair Hughes-Stanton at Colchester School of Art, she worked at Cowell's in Ipswich, before establishing her printmaking, and later a teaching career. A gifted typographer, she also produced 375 book jacket designs. FP105.
