A partir del análisis de los resultados se pudo establecer que los estudiantes encuestados presentan una actitud neutral hacia la ciencia a nivel general y asimismo en cada una de las categorías que mide el instrumento. Respecto a la variable sexo se detectó que existe una actitud neutral hacia la ciencia, en el caso de las mujeres, y desfavorable en los hombres. Para la variable edad los estudiantes entre 17 y 19 años muestran una actitud desfavorable hacia la ciencia. En cuanto a las variables académicas, como el año de ingreso a la Universidad, los estudiantes de primer año (2011) destacan por tener una actitud desfavorable hacia la ciencia respecto a estudiantes que ingresaron el año 2008 a la Universidad. Se observó también que los estudiantes de carreras relacionadas con el área de ciencia poseen una actitud favorable hacia la misma. 144 pp. Spanisch.
