Soft white paperback covers with very slight rubbing/chipping to edges/spine, minor soiling/browning. Contents clean and tight with very slight soiling. Nice DW with a little rubbing/chipping to edges/spine few small tears/creases to edges, a little soiling/browning, small label mark to front. On June 24th 1940, the Nazis occupied the Channel Islands, the only part of the British Commonwealth to be occupied by the Germans during WWII. The occupation lasted until May 1945. The author lived through the occupation, and this is an account of his experiences and those of other islanders.
