An apparently unrecorded prospectus for a successful college periodical which didn't begin until 1852, and continued in 1857-58 as Knox Collegiate Magazine, and in 1861 as the Adelphi Quarterly. It is "proposed to issue the first week of August, the first number of a monthly paper of 16 large octavo pages." The paper would publish "such essays, dissertations, narratives, scraps of poetry, moral tales, etc., etc, as we can from time to time produce." Faculty and administration are invited to participate . Terms: "One dollar per copy, payable on receipt of the first number.".
