Hardcover. Condition: Fine. Limited edition of 100 copies [74/100] signed. Printed and bound by hand by Adam McLean at his workshop in Glasgow. Boards in simulated leather with gilt lettering on spine. 16 color full-page illustrations. pp. 34, [1]. Fine. The book Helleleuchtender Hertzens-Spiegel was printed in 1680. Its emblems were devised by Nicolaus Haublin, a minor artist and engraver, and the text seems to be by Paul Kaym, a mystic and a close friend of Jacob Boehme. The work is a devotional compilation, exploring Man's relationship to God through the emblem of a heart.
