Originally published in 1847 in London by the Book Society for Promoting Religious Knowledge, this reprint contains two scarce discourses by this 17th century English Puritan preacher. Mead had a significant ministry in 17th century London; appointed to a curate by Oliver Cromwell, he was one of the 2000 ejected ministers of 1662. Returning to England, he ministered at Stepney until his death in 1699. 132 pp. CONDITION: Like new teal hardcopy; blue dust jacket with illustration of Rev.
