Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. 4th Edition. 4to, cream boards printed in black, bit worn at extremities, entirely unpaginated. Line drawn text illustrations. The free front endpaper is fully taken up with a presentation inscription from Melross to Miss Elizabeth Tank (whose papers and archives are at the Schlesinger Library, at Harvard), itself surrounded by his black-ink drawing (signed) of a Trout Stream. Nearly a Very Good copy.

An amusing volume telling the story of the Nithsdale Argosy. Black and white characertures and illustrations throughout. Bound in original cream boards. Inscribed to half-title reading 'To Mr Rochester. With the Compliments of Mrs E Still'. Endpages and boards show moderate foxing. Binding strong. No underlining. 1kg. Extra postage overseas.

An inscribed complimentary copy from the author. With an original signed etching by Frank Mason. Small split at spine, boards a little grubby & worn at peripheries but internally very good indeed.

Unpaginated, 2 colour plates and one portrait photo with tissue-guards, text illustrations (many full-page) by Bateman, Marchant, Heath Robinson (see image), etc., one including a folding-reveal, double-page colour plate loosely inserted. Original decorated white parchment, bevelled edges, decorated presentation leaf. Parchment rubbed, with wear to extremes, and soiled.
