Hardcover. Condition: Good. ] Hardback, twelvemo, appx 5 1/4 x 7 1/2 inches, gilt on brown cloth, vi + 234 + 19 pages of ads, G+ to VG-. General light wear to covers, esp. corners and spine-ends. The Y and E of the spine title wrap around onto the front joint and are partially rubbed off. Solid binding, brown endpapers with hing…es intact. Writing to the blank back of the FFEP + names and addresses to the next blank page. Just a few pages within have a bit of pencil. Illustrated with drawings, diagrams, cross-sections, etc. and half-tone photographs of tools, equipment and machinery. 4 pages of Tables (including capacities, alloys, etc.), 18-page Glossary, 2-page Index. From Flather's Introduction: "Mr. Tate is an experienced pattern maker, who has been in charge of the pattern shop at the University of Minnesota for the past fifteen years, and during a part of this time he has also had charge of the work in the foundry. Mr. Stone is a graduate of the University who has given especial attention to foundry work, both from the standpoint of the chemist and from that of the molder."
