Previous owner's blind embossed details to front endpaper. Lovely colour frontis plus three further colour plates. Many black and white illustrations. Lots of short stories including elves, fairies,gollies, toys etc. One of the black and white illustrations is coloured in neatly. "The Pinnacle Series" 96 pages.

Original Cloth. Condition: Good. Schmolle, Stella (illustrator). 1st Edition. Variant red boards with illustrations blind stamped on the front panel and the spine. Boards have fading to the spine and patches of damp staining to the outer edges of the front and rear panels. Page edges are browned. Endpapers are browned and pages are lightly browned with spotting at the front and back of the book and a few places through the book. Illustrated by Stella Schmolle - the colour frontispiece is loosening along the bottom half of its length. No jacket. First printing.
