Brown cloth with title framed in red with small emblem of a sailing ship, title on spine hard to read but remains legible. Sharp tips and bumped spine ends. Ghosting from erased owner's name on endpps, text has occasional foxing and…few unobtrusive check marks or tidy underlining in pencil. Crescent shaped chip on upper tip of rep. 302 pp includes glossary and index to notes, last few pp are publisher's pitches for other publications.
