First edition with Arthur Rackham illustrations. Signed limited edition. Original paper covered boards with titles in gilt to the spine and upper board, as well as an illustration in gilt to the upper board. Illustrated endpapers. Beautifully illustrated with 24 mounted colour plates by Arthur Rackham, protected by lettered tissue guards, as well as further black and white in-text drawings. A very good copy, the binding square and firm, the corners a little bumped and worn, the boards and spine with dustiness, the edges of the upper board toned. The contents, page 35 having a very short closed tear to the margin, are clean and bright throughout and without previous owners' inscriptions or stamps.
